O F F I C I A L N O T I C E Published by Authority of the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee NOTICE TO TAXPAYERSMilwaukee, Wisconsin - December 15, 2025 Office of the City Treasurer:NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all interested that the tax roll of the City of Milwaukee, in the State of Wisconsin, for the year 2025 is now in my hands for collection of City general property taxes, special charges and special assessments in said roll specified, and that said general property taxes, including real and personal property taxes, special charges and special assessments, must be paid on or before the last day of January 2026 unless at the option of the taxpayers, general property taxes, special charges and special assessments, other than special assessments for which no payment extension is allowed, are paid on the installment plan (Wisconsin State Statutes, Section 74.87(3)). NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN, that if any tax (real or personal), charge, or assessment is not paid when due in accordance with law, the entire unpaid balance may be declared delinquent (Wisconsin State Statutes, Section 74.87(2), 74.87 (5), 74.87 (6), and 74.47), and the City may exercise any right, procedure, or remedy available to it, or applicable to the collection and enforcement of delinquent taxes under Chapter 74 and/or Chapter 75 of the Wisconsin State Statutes, including (without limitation) foreclosure against real estate under Wisconsin State Statutes, Section 75.521.
