REQUESTING PROPOSALSThe Milwaukee County Departments of Parks, Recreation and Culture and Administrative Services are requesting proposals to provide design services for Walker Square Park improvements. The design scope includes demolition of the existing wading pool, design of a new play fountain, a new central plaza, improved walkways, site furnishings, lighting, integrated spaces for future artwork, grading, landscaping, tree preservation and planting, restroom compliance solutions, and coordination of utilities, lighting, and constructability. Proposals are due June 3, 2026. There will be an optional pre-proposal meeting in person and on Microsoft TEAMS on 5/20/26 at 2:00 PM. Please email jack.sudar@milwaukeecountywi.gov for an invitation.
