Calhoun Road, Brookfield, WI 53005, no later than 10:00 a.m., Central Standard Time, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 for the following described project: PROJECT: The work is officially known as the "North Avenue East Landscape Project", shall consist of furnishing labor, materials, tools, equipment, utility and transportation services, insurance and everything necessary for the installation landscape material and planting beds on North Calhoun Road. Work may commence on or about May 7, 2025, providing the successful bid is awarded by the Common Council and following receipt of a Notice to Proceed. The proposal form furnished by the City shall be properly executed by the bidder. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check payable to the City of Brookfield equal to five percent (5%) of the largest possible total bid or bids, including consideration of alternates. The successful bidder's failure to execute the contract and furnish the performance bond within ten (10) days after the award shall cause the Check or Bid Bond to be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages (Section 62.15(3), Wisconsin Statutes). The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any minor informality or irregularity in bids received.
