PROPOSALS A bidder's qualification statement available at www.cityof brookfield.com or by contacting the Director of Public Works, must be delivered to the City of Brookfield at least five (5) days before the bid opening date. The proposal form furnished by the City shall be properly executed by the bidder. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check payable to the City of Brookfield equal to five percent (5%) of the largest possible total bid or bids, including consideration of alternates. The successful bidder's failure to execute the contract and furnish the performance bond within ten (10) days after the award shall cause the Check or Bid Bond to be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages (Section 62.15(3), Wisconsin Statutes).
